About me
Hi, I’m Carly!
I’m a New Zealand Registered Dietitian (NZRD) with over 10 years of experience working in several clinical areas across New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
What I do
I help people understand the science around food and nutrition, so they can make informed, but realistic decisions about their health and food.
In a world full of confusing and often conflicting nutrition advice, my focus is on providing clear, evidence-based information and practical strategies to help you achieve your goals in a way that works for you, without unnecessary restrictions.
I’m passionate about challenging nutrition myths, especially around fad diets, influencer advice, and “quick fix” solutions. I want to help people avoid wasting time, money, and energy on things that don’t work, and instead focus on what actually does.
Whether you’re trying to understand a diagnosis, looking to improve your diet, manage symptoms, work on fuelling for a specific goal or just want to feel more confident in your food choices, I’m here to support you, whatever your goal is.
I’m always keen to share knowledge in a way that’s practical and easy to understand, whether that’s through one on one consultations, practical activities, writing articles or blog posts, sharing resources, facilitating educational talks, nutrition workshops or supermarket tours.
